1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Site.

2. Purpose & Use of Site

MALLEAB JOURNAL is a non-commercial, personal project by Bekkhozha Diyas, dedicated to documenting and sharing applied reflections on research-based knowledge. The Site provides informational content, commentary, events, surveys, and community-engagement opportunities. It is intended for users aged 16 or older (or with parental/guardian consent where required by law).

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software) is the property of MALLEAB JOURNAL or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property law. You may view, download, or print content for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided you retain all copyright and proprietary notices contained in the content. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content without obtaining express written permission.

3A. License to Readers: Share & Adapt with Attribution

Except where otherwise noted, and only for content originally created by MALLEAB JOURNAL, we grant you a worldwide, royalty-free license to copy, redistribute, translate, and adapt our original text for non-commercial purposes, provided that you give appropriate credit. Appropriate credit means: (a) naming “MALLEAB JOURNAL” as the source, (b) linking to the original page, and (c) indicating if changes were made. Commercial use is not permitted without prior written consent. To request commercial permission, contact contact.malleab@gmail.com.
If you prefer a standard form, you may treat this section as equivalent to a Creative Commons Attribution–Non commercial license for our original content. Where a specific page states a different license, that page’s notice controls.

3B. Exclusions (Third-Party Works)

This license does not apply to third-party material quoted, embedded, or referenced on the Site (e.g., journal excerpts, university materials, images, videos, charts). Those items remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to separate terms or licenses. If you wish to reuse third-party material, obtain permission from the rights holder or rely on an applicable exception or license.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Site. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: using the Site in any way that violates applicable local, national or international law or regulation; impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation; posting or transmitting any inappropriate, unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content; attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other accounts, computer systems or networks; collecting or harvesting personal data from the Site for commercial use. The Site reserves the right to suspend or terminate access at any time for any user found in violation of these Terms.

5. User Contributions & Community Events

When you participate in any community activity (such as surveys, project participation, or event registration), you understand you are providing information voluntarily. MALLEAB JOURNAL may collect, store, and use that information under the Privacy & Cookie Policy. By submitting contributions, you grant MALLEAB JOURNAL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, and display the contributions in any media.

5A. Community Participation & Submissions (Share-Back)

By submitting feedback, survey responses, or participation notes, you (1) confirm the submission is voluntary and lawful to share, and (2) grant MALLEAB JOURNAL a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and excerpt the submission in connection with the Site and its community projects, with credit where feasible. You retain your rights in your submission.

6. Third-Party Links and Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or content. These are provided for convenience and information only. MALLEAB JOURNAL does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. Accessing any third-party site is at your own risk.

7A. Our Use of Third-Party Materials (Quotations & References)

We may include short quotations, excerpts, or references from credible sources for the purposes of commentary, analysis, education, and discussion. We (1) identify the source and, when feasible, link to it; (2) limit the excerpt to what is necessary to illustrate the point; and (3) add original analysis based on lived application. If you are a rights holder and believe an excerpt here exceeds a permitted exception or license, contact contact.malleab@gmail.com and we will review promptly.

7B. No Full-Text Reproduction

We do not republish third-party works in full, bypass paywalls, or host proprietary materials. Readers should consult the original sources for complete texts.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

All content on the Site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. MALLEAB JOURNAL disclaims any warranty that content is accurate, complete, or timely. In no event shall MALLEAB JOURNAL or its owner(s) be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Site or reliance on any content.

12. Takedown Procedure (Copyright/Attribution)

If you are a rights holder and believe material on the Site infringes your rights or lacks proper attribution, send a notice to contact.malleab@gmail.com with (a) the URL, (b) a description of the material, (c) proof of rights, and (d) your contact details. We will investigate in good faith and remove or correct where appropriate.

9. Changes to Terms

MALLEAB JOURNAL reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. Please review this page periodically for updates.

13. Future Commercialization (Prospective Changes)

The Site is presently non-commercial. If we later introduce merchandise, sponsorships, or paid services, we will update these Terms prospectively. Changes will not retroactively alter the license you received for content accessed before the change, unless a new license is expressly stated to apply prospectively only.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
